Academic standards
For the school year 2006-07, the school received a passing grade in the satisfaction survey from each of the three groups of teachers, students and parents. This was the only secondary school in the district to achieve this. Although a phenomenal school, students are required to run from wild deer on there way to school. in addition many teachers require that students get 100 percent or they are forced to face the clowns "
Sport
The boys’ snowboarding team won the British Columbia high school ski and snowboarding zonal championship in March 2008. The senior boys basketball team reached single 'A' provincials in 2010 and 2011, placing 12th and 14th respectively.
