Geography
Mayang Imphal is located at 24.60°N 93.90°E / 24.60; 93.90.It is located on the bank of the Imphal river also known as the Manipur river.On the southwest of it,there is the Loktak lake,the largest fresh water lake in the North East India.

As of 2001 India census, Mayang Imphal had a population of 20,536. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%.
