History
Perry was born into a family of musicians. His father, Fredro Perry, a drummer, songwriter, producer, and independent label owner, toured worldwide with his band, The Brooklyn Cowboys. His uncle, producer Richard Perry was twice named Billboard Record Producer of the Year, producing artists like Ringo Starr, Rod Stewart, Harry Nilsson, Carly Simon, The Pointer Sisters, Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Ray Charles, Fats Domino, Patti La Belle, and The Temptations to name a few.
Perry's brother and partner, Gennessee, frequent co-writer with Max, has worked with artists Mac Dre, One Block Radius, Too Short, Hell Rell, Paul Wall, AZ, Chino Xl and others.
Establishing his career, Perry worked with artists from his hometown of New York including Jim Jones, Prodigy, AZ, Sheek Louch, Tru-Life, Hell Rell, Max B, 40 Cal, and Paul Cain. Since his teen years, he also traveled to California frequently to work with Gennessee. He eventually worked with artists like Mistah F.A.B, San Quinn, Killa Tay, B-Legit, Matt Blaque, Goldie Gold, Berner, Haji Springer, Cousin Fik, and Global.
Perry produced three tracks for the American Gangster episode "Mac Dre and the Romper Room Gang", which aired on BET in January 2009. Future plans include projects with Brisco, Nipsey Hussle, Baby Bash, Gorilla Zoe, B-Legit, Jody Breeze, and Matt Blaque.
