Max E. Coffey (born April 28, 1939) was an American politician in the state of Illinois. He served in the Illinois House of Representatives and Illinois State Senate. Coffey was born in Vermilion County, Illinois. He was a farmer and retailer and lived in Charleston, Illinois. He was also a member of the Coles County, Illinois Board, a Charleston Township Supervisor, and delegate to 1982 Republican National Convention.
