Maurya ceased broadcasting on 1 2016; therefore, cancelled/scratched quite a few scripts that were to be made into actual programmes. Some concepts that were cancelled by the channel were Rohit Roy's Rang - The Colors of Love, Sharad Kelkar's Siraj-ud-Daulah, and Sampada Vaze's Hum Tum.
