Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology (MACET), Patna, is an engineering institute in the city of Patna, Bihar, India. The college is affiliated to Magadh University, Bodh Gaya and approved by the Department of Science and Technology, government of Bihar and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Contents

The campus is 20km from Patna Junction and 16 km from Patna Airport, near Neora Ganj, Neora, on an 18 acre campus. According to a survey by Hansa Weekly survey MACET is one of the 10 Best Engineering Colleges in east India.

Foundation

The college was founded by the Milat Education Society, Patna in 1988. It is the oldest private engineering college in Bihar.

Governance

The college is governed by the governing body of the College, whose president is Dr. A.A Hai, is the famous surgeon of patna, Secretary Syed Safdar Ali Khan with eight other members.

Administration

The administration of the college is run by a team consisting of 14 members, whose head is the Director of MACET.
