Matty Amendola is an American musician best known for his founding of 825 Records. He is a former member of the band The Classic Futures and released two solo albums: =Ecstasy and Life Commercials.

Early career
Amendola began drumming professionally at the age of 13. During his early career Amendola played bass and toured the US nationally with the band The Classic Futures (originally named Here's Johnny) alongside Damien Fahey, with which he toured and performed on television networks including MTV. He was also the drummer for the national dance competition Jump broadcast on Nickelodeon.
Solo career
As a solo artist, he released his first album entitled =Ecstacy in 2008, which as followed up by his second album Life Commercials less than a year later. The single,Summer, from his second album received national radio air-play after its release. His work includes nationally televised commercials, including a commercial for a World Baseball Classic commercial that aired in 42 countries. In 2013 Amendola signed with top talent management company Joe D'Ambrosio Management.
825 Records and Froductions
Amendola is the founder of 825 Records. The first artists signed to the label, when it opened in 2008, were Tiva Lee and Grammy award winner Toni Rose. Amendola produces and plays on most tracks produced by 825 Records, having played on more than 130 commercial releases. One of these releases was Fleet Walker's debut album Morning Void.
Amendola is also the founder of Froductions, which according to And Magazine was established "to develop and enhance independent artists and to offer them a chance at ... international success". In support of the artists, Amendola leads them through the process of recording from pre-production through mastering for one of their songs. Froductions also helps artists with promotions and marketing. Amendola has described it as providing "label-like" services to artists who wish to remain independent.
Amendola is represented by Joe D'Ambrosio Management, Inc.
Personal life
Amendola is the son of Billy Amendola, who received several Billboard top-10 hits in the 1970s when drumming for the band Mantus.
