Matthew Lehoczky (born 22 March 1977) is an Australian ice hockey player who has played for the Canberra Knights and the Gold Coast Blue Tongues in the Australian Ice Hockey League. He has also represented Australia at the IIHF World Championship.

Playing career

Lehoczky first played for the Canberra Knights of the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) in 2002. During his first season Lehoczky competed in 14 games scoring four goals and eleven assists. Following the end of the 2002 AIHL season Lehoczky moved to Finland and joined the HC Storm of the 2. Divisioona for the 2002-03 season. Lehoczky remained with the Storm until the end of the season and then returned to Australia and re-signed with the Knights. Lehoczky remained with the Knights until the end of the 2006 season before leaving the team. After missing the 2007 season Lehoczky returned to ice hockey signing with the Gold Coast Blue Tongues of the AIHL for the 2008. He remained at the Blue Tongues for only the 2008 season before leaving the club.

Lehoczky received his first and only call up to represent Australia in 2003 where he joined the national senior team to compete in the 2003 IIHF World Championship Division II Group A being held in Seoul, South Korea. Australia finished fourth in the tournament while Lehoczky only managed to record ten penalties in minutes during his five games.

Lehoczky was born on 22 March 1977 in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
