Mathias Jakobsen, (born 1985) also known as Mathias Vestergaard Jakobsen or Mathias Vestergaard, is a Danish internet entrepreneur and artist based in New York City. He co-founded the daily Danish street fashion blog, GadeMode. He also founded Fashion Week Live and Think Clearly, a visual facilitation and consulting practice.

Early life and education

When Jakobsen was 14, his mother died of breast cancer. He founded MT Productions, a digital technology company, when he was 15. Jakobsen attended Aarhus University and has a master's degree in information studies.

Career

Jakobsen worked as a street fashion photographer for GadeMode, a blog which he co-founded with Helle Rohde Andersen in 2007. His art was featured in the Signs of Time exhibition in Aarhus. In August 2011, Jakobsen created the cover photography for the album Sung in Broken Symmetry.

In 2010, he was granted an EB-1 visa to the United States and moved to New York with his wife in 2011.

He founded Think Clearly, a visual facilitation and consulting practice in New York. Through Think Clearly, Jakobsen publishes a handwritten newsletter. He currently works as a Learning Designer for Hyper Island.
