Dr Matauddin Peerzada (alias Motamiyan Chishty - IV) also known as Peer Dr Matauddin Chishty (Born 20 November 1984) was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in the Chishty Sufi family of India. He is a philosopher, social activist, author and a Sufi preacher. He belongs to the Chishtiya Sufi Order initiated in India by Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty (Radi.) of Ajmer.

His father Hazrat Khwaja His Holiness Salimuddin Fariduddin Chishty is a present successor to the Traditional Historical Holy Gadi (Sufi throne) of Motamiyan Mangrol Sharif (Khanwada- e-Chishtiya-Faridiya-Sabiriya) in District Surat of the state Gujarat. Currently he is living in Palej, District Bharuch.
Family background
Peerzada belongs to the renowned Sufis like Hazrat Sultan Ibrahim Adham of Balkh, Hazrat Fariduddin Ganjshakar of Pakpattan Sharif, Hazrat Alauddin Ahmed Sabir Kalyari of India. His ancestors started serving humanity around 750 years ago.
From his early ancestors Hazrat Khwaja Saiyed Matauddin alias Motamiyan Chishty’s III (Radi.) was a Great Sufi, he had successfully completed the movement of One lakh Cow Rearing in Every House Hold. He was given many titles like Raj Vallabh, Raj Guru, His Holiness, he was also given 14 rights - privileges by the Government, Whereas, his grandfather Hazrat Saiyed Khwaja Fariduddin Chishty (Radi.) continued as a sajjadanashin (successor) to the Gadi of Motamiyan Mangrol for longest period.
Current life
Peerzada preaches Sufi principles like Brotherhood, Unity, Cow Rearing in every house hold, Communal Harmony, Spiritual Development, Women Education, Tobacco De-addiction. He has initiated the Tobacco De-addiction Campaign for one lakh people, through which he and his team members are working across state Gujarat.
Peerzada has delivered lectures at various places, he has authored books on Sufism and published articles in the field of Management, following ancestors path he keeps himself away from politics.
Dr Peerzada has started an NGO called Global Sufi Peace and Research Foundation, which is registered charitable trust. This foundation is dedicated for Education, Health, Spiritual Enrichment with the help of Sufi Principles including all kind of social and welfare services. This foundation is inspired by the Gadi of Motamiyan Mangrol, taking into consideration the Sufi tradition of his ancestors and way of serving Humanity.
Education
Peerzada has completed his graduation from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. He has done his graduation in Psychology. He has also received Master of Business Management (MBA) in Human Resource Management, Master of Philosophy and Religion and has also studied all the major religions of the world. Peerzada has studied subjects like Philosophy of Religion, Metaphysics and Epistemology, Logic and Philosophy of Science including special reference to Mahatma Gandhi and Philosophy of Peace Making.
Apart from this Peerzada has also done his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Jaipur National University.
