History

The area is also "Maximilla" called (named after one of the main streets of the neighborhood: the way of Maximilla) or "Casal Lumbroso" (name taken from the Via del Casale Lumbroso, a street surrounded by villas and connecting with the Via Aurelia GRA), and is developed on the south side of the via Aurelia, just outside the ring road, on an alternate area of the valley and ridges.

The axis of the main settlement can be divided into three basic areas, divided by commercial and private land: Area of 13 ° (from the corresponding mileage derived name on Via Aurelia), whose core is formed by the main settlement sequence via Giuseppe Vanni, via Alessandro Santini and Via Casal Lumbroso; area mainly consists of small buildings and duplexes and four-family. Area Maximilla, whose core is formed by the sequence of settlement via the Maximilla, via Serafino Belfanti and Via Ciro Trabalza (three-way connected to each other but parallel in different points; area exclusively made up of small buildings. Ildebrando area (named after the street that forms the backbone, since the zone extends over the entire length of the street: via Ildebrando Della Giovanna), whose core and more settlement consists of the houses along the whole street (it is note that the above route is no longer private since 2001, when it was expanded to the benefit of both lanes of traffic and with ample parking adjacent to homes, offices and service areas); is an area of villas and small buildings. Since 2011 Via Ildebrando Della Giovanna connects Via Romano Guerra via Joel Solari, the other main artery of the area. Near this junction extends the zone park.

The structure of the area does not present places with central characters, which can be a square or a shopping boulevard. The only trade front this is, in fact, near the Via Aurelia.

In May 2009 came the idea to build the stadium for football for A.S. Roma, then lapsed.
