The Massad family, an Orthodox Christian family whose ancestral home is the village of Jdeideh and Marjayoun located in southern Lebanon with some emigration to South America and to the United States especially to Oklahoma during late 1800s and early 1900s, due to Muslim Turkish Ottoman Empire religious oppression.
