Biography

In addition to Arild Andersen (double bass) the band consisted of Jon Christensen (drums), Jon Balke (keyboards), Tore Brunborg (saxophone) and Nils Petter Molvær (trumpet). Balke left the band after two album releases, and was replaced by Frode Alnæs (guitar) who participated on the third album Aero. During the last few years (and on their last album), the band had neither a pianist or guitarist and performed as a quartet. They toured in United States, Canada and Europe in addition to several venues in Norway.
The band was awarded three times Spellemannprisen in the class Jazz.
