Personal life

From an early age, Maria De Luz Da Silva showed her interest in belong to the world of entertainment and modeling. This Venezuelan girl with Portuguese parents grew up in a family that was fed daily with music, painting, acting and many other artistic expressions that gradually led her to discover her gift in front of the cameras and especially one of her great features, her ability to create empathy with the audience.

In the beginning she divided his time between her education at the Highschool Immaculate Conception of La Victoria, and modeling academies at the Edo Aragua in Maracay. Having an exercise routine and a healthy life became his lifestyle. She never lost her focus on the world of fashion and her studies. Maria De Luz was always interested in her studies and managed to have a good average among her classmates.

In Maracay the modeling academies refine her and professionalized her basic techniques of body language and runway. Shee established his first contact with the artistic media and faced what it means to belong to the world of modeling, national and international runways, bands, travel, comparisons and especially competition.

Maria De Luz began to become famous among agencies and the press in Maracay, but her plans were never limited to the Aragua capital. Her immediate goal was to be recognized as Miss Venezuela.

That's why she took the time to go to Canada for several months, hoping to return to her country with a lot more training, not only in the language but as an international model. So she armed herself with all she had to deal with the other girls. Beautiful girls that, like her, wanted to give everything for the crown of Miss Venezuela. So in his visit to "La Quinta" Osmel Sousa made her the Miss Mérida 2009. And although she failed in her chance to win the crown this candidate won a place as one of the 10 semifinalists os the pageant. She also won the bands of Miss Photogenic and Miss Personality, bands that were key to define the features that make her so well known and requested this days.

Maria De Luz became what she always wanted. She was a step towards a large window of possibilities. The media and agencies where soaked with the name Maria De Luz. This girl participated in major competitions such as the Miss Friendship International 2009, where she won as Miss Perfect Forms representing Venezuela, and the Miss Tourism International 2010, representing Portugal. During this time she appeared in several magazines as in the country known as Novios Magazine, Novias, Eme, 2sis, 5inco, Gente VIP, Talentos, Celebra, Alegra, Cosmopolitan, Urbe Bikini, Grazia, Casta, Encarta’s, Variedades, Dominical, among others. Suddenly she became the girl on the cover to the subject of to the main story, so it was in the case of the Eme Magazine.

Maria De Luz did not stop. The beauty pegeants were over but her career wasn't. The Venezuelan model took over and walked in many international runways in Italy, Mexico, Malaysia, China, Germany, Ecuador, among others. She worked for famous designers and brands to show her slender figure on the runways of Levi's, Diesel, Tommy Hilfiguer, Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein, La Senza, Everlast, Nike, Benetton, and as model Clinic and Dior makeup. Her last appearance in a beauty contest was in 2012 in the Top Model Of The World. She won the 1st finalist place, representing Venezuela. Another of his great achievements in 2012 was to obtain the "Pierre Cardin Model Award 2012".

This girl also demonstrates her ability on camera hosting TV programs and live events. This is how she earned a place in front of the cameras of Sun Channel, Canal Plus and Venevision Plus. Including hosting "Widescreen" a TV program on network called Canal I which was brought to moviegoers with facts of the world of cinema and entertainment data.
