Martin Buhr (3 April 1913 – 23 August 1988) was a highly decorated Oberstleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Martin Buhr joined the Bundeswehr in 1955 and retired in 1971 as an Oberst.
