Simpson was a Miss Newcastle runner up and worked as a waitress before Geordie Shore. Her cousin is co-star Sophie Kasaei.
Career
Simpson first became well known in Geordie Shore, which she joined in 2013. She left the show in 2015, but returned in the same year. In 2016, she took part in the eighteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother where she finished in fourth place.
Personal life
Simpson was engaged to Ricky Rayment, who is known for his role in The Only Way Is Essex. Simpson came out as bisexual in 2016. She was dating her fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate and former The Only Way is Essex cast member, Lewis Bloor. Marnie ended her relationship with Lewis in February 2017.
