Club career

Pieëte began her career as a junior with VVOG, only leaving to join Be Quick '28 who were at the time playing at the highest level of women's football in the Netherlands.

She joined FC Twente in the 2007 close season as Twente were about to embark on the first season of the newly formed Eredivisie Vrouwen. At the end of her first season with the club, she won a cup winners' medal. In 2014 she moved to Ajax.
International career
Pieëte represented the Netherlands at Under-17 and Under-19 level. She made her debut for the Netherlands senior team on 5 March 2009 against Russia in the Cyprus Cup. She was selected for the 2009 European Championships squad, playing three times and scoring in the semi-final as the Netherlands lost to England.
In June 2013 national team coach Roger Reijners selected Pieëte in the final Netherlands squad for UEFA Women's Euro 2013 in Sweden. When she sustained a knee injury on the eve of the tournament, FC Twente team mate Maayke Heuver was her replacement.
