Mark Penney (born 24 June 1982) is a Canadian born filmmaker, entrepreneur, businessman, writer, musician, composer and artist.

He is perhaps best known as the director of the 2004 film The Right Way which screened at many international film festivals and had a further limited theatrical and video on demand release in the United States. He followed that up with the 2007 experimental feature Life and the 2013 Canadian love story Le beau risque (The Beautiful Risk), The experimental drama Calla Lily was released in 2016.

Mark began his career in Christian television at the age of 16 before working as a camera assistant. Mark then ventured into directing local television and short films.
