Mark Lovegrove is a British game designer, music composer & film-maker. Lovegrove is owner of development/publishing company Screen 7. He is known for writing music for point & click adventure games, including games made with Adventure Game Studio, notably Trilby's Notes by Ben Yahtzee Croshaw.

Career

In 2003, Lovegrove was awarded an Excellence in Music & Sound award for his work on The Adventures Of Fatman. In 2007 he directed a behind-the-scenes documentary of "The Butterfly Tattoo" and interviewed the book's author, Philip Pullman. Lovegrove is the owner of Screen 7, a UK video game publisher.

In 2010, Lovegrove was awarded with the AGS Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2011 Lovegrove founded AdventureX, an annual video game exposition in the UK aimed at adventure game developers and players, which has featured special guests Charles Cecil, Chris Bateman, Dave Gilbert (game designer), Stephen Marley (writer) and Jon Ingold amongst others.
