Jewell's experience includes over 30 years in commercial real estate and 20 years in energy efficiency. He is the founder and President of Selling Energy in Burlingame, California.
Jewell is the author of the Wall Street Journal bestseller Selling Energy: Inspiring Ideas That Get More Projects Approved!, a series of essays on advancing energy efficiency. The book earned accolades from the Axiom Business Book Award, The International Book Award and The Reader Views Annual Literary Award.
Earlier in his career, Jewell helped the US EPA deploy both the ENERGY STARĀ® Buildings Program for Commercial Real Estate and the Portfolio ManagerĀ® benchmarking tool. He is a graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he specialized in Economics and Finance.
Jewell lives in Hillsborough, California with his wife Rachel Christenson and their two young children.
