Mark Heckles is the son of 1976 Manx Grand Prix lap record holder, Keith Heckles. Following in the family business, he has been competing professionally since 1994 on an international level. Heckles operated as a self-funded privateer in 2014. In the 2015 season, joined Ryders Alley Racing in the MotoAmerica road racing series.
