In 2016, Esposito was appointed as Research Fellow at the Circular Economy Research Initiative at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. Esposito was appointed a fellow of the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government in Dubai in 2017, as well as being nominated for the Thinkers50 and as a global expert for the World Economic Forum.

Work
Esposito's teaches of Systems Thinking, Business, Government and Society, Modern Dilemmas, and Economic and Strategic Competitiveness, at the Harvard Extension School and Harvard Summer School.
Esposito founded the think tank Lab-Center for Competitiveness, which studies competitiveness as a bottom-up approach in the creation of equality in society, involving the creation of prosperity and sustainable business practices.
Esposito holds fellowships with the Social Progress Imperative as well as the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils in Washington DC
