Mark Allen is an American businessman and Republican politician from Oklahoma. He is the current state senator for District 4 in the Oklahoma Senate.
According to his campaign website, Allen is the owner of Allen Rathole, Inc. a family-owned business specializing in oil field service.
Senate District 4 encompasses all of Le Flore County and the central and eastern sections of Sequoyah County including the city of Sallisaw.
Mark Allen began his first term as a state senator in 2010. He has been an advocate for open carry and voted in favor of the current open carry law in Oklahoma.
Allen was among 14 Republicans who signed a pledge to vote against further bond issues for an Oklahoma City-based museum featuring Native American art.
He currently serves as the vice chair of the Senate Transportation Committee and a member of three other committees.
