Location

Mariyala is located at 4.8 kilometer northwest of Chamarajanagar town. Right now it is not considered as a suburb of Chamarajanagar city because it is very much distinct from the city.

Transportation

Mariyala has a separate railway station called Mariyala Gangavadi. Only slow trains stop here. The village is on the highway between Chamarajanagar and Mysore.
