Marisa Cleveland is an American author and songwriter, a research and development director for The Seymour Agency, and a managing partner for Simeris Alliance. Her debut teen novel, Accidental Butterfly, hit the New York Times and USA Today bestsellers list as part of an anthology in June 2015.

Cleveland was born in South Korea, adopted and raised in New Hampshire, and attended George Mason University for her bachelor's and master's degrees. She is a 2015 FACE award recipient for Arts and Culture, and a 2014 Forty under 40 honoree. She serves on the board of the Naples Press Club, and is a member of the Naples Pathways Coalition, Romance Writers of America, Contemporary Romance Writers, Young Adult Romance Writers of America, Southwest Florida Romance Writers, and the Marco Island Writers. Cleveland is also a member of Nashville Songwriters Association International and BMI.
