Marguerite Brésil

Marguerite Brésil (born 1880) was a French stage actress. In 1899 she made her stage debut in Paris in Petit Chagrin. She performed in all the major theaters of Paris, and played the title role in Zaza.

Pictures of her appeared on Belle Époque postcards, and she popularized the Recamier hairstyle.
