Margo Chase (1958 – July 22, 2017) was an American graphic designer. Originally a biology major with intentions of becoming a veterinarian, Chase began studying design at California Polytechnic State University.

She designed logos for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Her company was involved in the branding of numerous entities, such as Target stores, as well as celebrities such as Cher, Madonna and Selena. Her articles and interviews appeared in the magazines HOW and Create.

Chase lived in Los Angeles, California. In addition to working as a graphic designer, Chase taught at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and Long Beach State University. Chase perished after her plane crashed on July 22, 2017, in front of her husband and a friend. She was 59.

    Chase's interest in letterforms, gothic architecture, and medieval manuscripts along with advancements in digital technology led to her unique style of graphic design. Chase’s extensive work was included in an exhibition at "Women Designers USA: 1900–2000", which was sponsored by Bard College.
