Education and Work Life

Born in Melbourne, Rose was educated at Carey Baptist Grammar School Melbourne and completed a Law Commerce Degree at Monash University and was admitted to practise as a barrister and solicitor in 1978. Rose studied Fine Art at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2002, and L'Ecoled 'Artd' Aix en Provence in 2003. Rose has combined his work in art and design with his work as a jeweller, and founded the Australian Branches of Charles Rose Jewellers in 1995.

Rose has taken a prominent role in the Australian Jewellery Retail Industry
