Wichary started his career in Sparta Zabrze, in 1999 he moved to Biała Podlaska to play in the local student club Akademickie Zreszenie Sportowe. In 2000, he moved to Warszawianka Warszawa and in 2001 to Wisła Płock, where he won twice the Championship of Poland.
