Maracas Beach is a beach on the island of Trinidad. It is located on the north side of the island, an hour's mountainous drive from the capital city of Port of Spain via the North Coast Road. Unlike many of the northern beaches of Trinidad, Maracas Beach is protected by a deep bay. It is one of the most well known beaches in the island of Trinidad as it is considered by some to be the most beautiful beach of its size located relatively close to the capital city.

One of the most famous aspects of Maracas Beach are the dozen Bake and Shark huts. Bake and Shark is a Trinidadian native dish that consists of deep-fried shark in bake "Bake" is actually kneaded flour that is fried in certain shapes to make the bread.

The mountainous drive to Maracas beach provides breath-taking scenery, building up the anticipation to the beautiful beach itself. On the way near the top of the mountain, offers a very popular "lookout" point, offering an illustrious view overlooking the beach. In addition, at this "look out point" is a famous "candy" and "preservatives" shop that sells many local Trinidadian preservatives(sour prunes, red mango,salt prunes etc.), and world popular candies (gummy bears, sour keys etc.).
