Early life
Shri Mansukh Mandavaiya was born in a small village named Hanol in Palitana taluka of Bhavanagar district in Gujarat State. Born to a middle class farmer family, he is youngest among 4 brothers. He finished his primary education in Government Primary School Hanol. He completed his high school studied from Songadh Gurukul. He has love for animals since childhood lead him to study veterinary science at Dantiwada Agriculture University Gujarat. He also possess degree of MA with Political Science.
Political career
Politically he was active since his youth and became member of Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad. He became state executive committee of ABVP, Gujarat Unit. His organization skills was recognized by senior leaders in party and was given responsibility of Yuva Morach of Palitana and then President of Palitana BJP unit.
In year 2002 at the age of 28 he fought Palitana Constituency and became youngest MLA in Gujarat. Being MLA, in year 2005 he organized 123 km long padyatra for 45 educationally backward villages of Palitana for purpose of Girl Education. Again, in year 2007 he organized 127 km long padyatra for 52 villages for cause of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and Vayasan Hatao (Give up bad habits).
In 2011 he became chairman of Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation Limited.
In year 2012 he got elected Rajya Sabha for Gujarat state. During his tenure in Rajya Sabha in opposition he raised many important questions of Gujarat. He raised very important question on patent for youth and researchers of country. During this he was member in many important standing committees of parliament like petroleum and natural gas, chemical and fertilizers. Was also member in consultative committee of forest & environment and in select committee for real estate bill – 2015. He was also chairman of Gujarat state consultative committee of FCI.
His organization skills were very important for party and he became Secretary for state unit BJP in 2013 and General Secretary in 2014.
He had honour to address United Nation General Assembly.
He was a part of President’s Delegation for three nation visit Ghana, Namibia and Cote d’lvoire.
In Mid-April; Shri Mandaviya visited Brazil and Argentina. In Argentina, he had a meeting with Vice Minister of Production on promoting bilateral cooperation in field of Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Energy and Pharma at Buenos Aires on 17 April 2017. After this he witnessed the signing of MoU between the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) and University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in Argentina for initiate collaboration in the areas of student exchange, academics, research and development of polymeric materials. In Brazil, he witnessed the signing of MoU between the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) and Universidade Estadual Paulista - São Paulo State University (UNESP), São Paulo, Brazil for bilateral cooperation in academics and research activities on 18 April 2017. After this he had a meeting with Minister of Mines and Energy and Minister of Commerce & Trade for bilateral cooperation in the field of renewable energy, chemicals & petrochemicals; pharmaceuticals and agro-chemicals.

He was made Union Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways (India), Union Minister of State for Shipping (India) and Union Minister of State for Chemical & Fertilizers (India) of India on 5 July 2016.
