Manjusha Faugoo (born 22 August 1991) is a Mauritian model and beauty pageant winner who participated in the contest Miss Mauritius in the year 2015. She was crowned as Miss International Mauritius and she also earned the title for Miss Sports 2015. She has also been voted as Miss Amity during the competition. She will represent her country in Miss International contest which will take place on 27 October 2016, at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan

Personal life and education

Manjusha was born and brought up in Mauritius, in a family consisting of her parents and three elder brothers. She completed college in the year 2009 after which she graduated in Law from Middlesex University. She started modelling at the age of 18 and appeared in local newspapers and magazines. She advertised for brands like Madmax and Tulsidas, among others. She has also acted in a local musical video in Kalpana Show which was aired on the television. She has walked the ramp numerous times and she has equally choreographed a fashion show for a cultural night.

In the year 2012, she was the youngest candidate in the village elections where she came up with a large number of votes allowing her to be among the Top 12 candidates amid 80 other candidates. This opened the way for her to be more involved in philanthropic activities. She has volunteered in teaching young children in association with Eli Africa. She has also been part of the Rotaract Club in Mauritius where she contributed in social causes. Currently, she is a member in an NGO namely Triolet SSS Civic Square Club, which aims at working for the betterment of the society by engaging in charity events, blood donation campaign among many others.
