Manitoba marathon fun for all


The Manitoba Marathon was first run in the City of Winnipeg in 1979 and since then be held annually on Fathers Day. All distances attracted 13,192 participants from around the world, including 564 in the full marathon event.

The marathon consists of the following events:

  • Full Marathon - a 42.195-kilometre (26.219 mi) run through residential and downtown streets.
  • Half Marathon
  • Team Relay
  • 10K Walk
  • Super Run - a 2.6-mile (4.2 km) run.
  • Mini Mites Fun Run - open to kids 5 years and under.
  • Wheelchair Full Marathon
  • Wheelchair Half Marathon
