Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Mangrulpir had a population of 27,686. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Mangrulpir has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 78%, and female literacy is 66%. In Mangrulpir, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Education

Mangrulpir city has devocational place where Hindu and Muslim stay together. It has a famous temple of Birbalnath Maharaj and HarazatBaba Dargha in city which attracted most of the tourists.

In Mangrulpir City one Deaf and Dumb School,Mangrulpir (Mukh Bidhir Nivasi Vidhalaya,Tuljapur) and ChitraRushi Maharaj Old age home,Mangrulpir (ChitraRushi Maharaj VrudAshram, Tuljapur) is also run. Deaf and Dumb school is one of the top deaf Schools of Maharashtra and has got ISO certification 9001:2015. Deaf School and Old Age Home got "A" Grade and recognized from Government of Maharashtra since 1989.

There is one public library named as sadguru bhagwant maharaj public library in hudko colony which as more than 15000 books and number of daily news paper in regional and English language.

There are two Senior colleges. They are V.N. Arts & Commerce College and Y.C. Arts & Science College. Qalandariya Urdu High School & Jr College is Mangrulpir's first and very popular Urdu college.
