Mamamia Women's Network is Australia's premier women's media company. The company describes itself has a second home for women, where they can come to learn, laugh and cry. It began as a blog in 2007 in a suburban lounge room in Sydney and became a business 18 months later, co-founded by Mia Freedman and her husband Jason Lavigne. It is the home of Mamamia.com.au, the largest independent women’s website in Australia and its associated social channels and distribution partners. It also includes the world's #1 women's podcast network with ten weekly podcasts and 6 million annual downloads.
