Malhar Rao Gaekwad (1831–1882) was the Maharaja of Baroda (r.1870 - 19 April 1875). He was the sixth and youngest son of Sayaji Rao Gaekwad II.

He was tried for attempting to poison the British Resident at Baroda, Robert Phayre, brother of Lieutenant General Arthur Purves Phayre.
