Currently, Lexington Alexander is training/competing with the aspirations to be the first African American to compete on a National and International level as a member of USA Archery and to make the USA Olympic team for 2016.
Music Production
At 15, Lexington signed production deal with Chung King Studios where he was known as the "Reverend Rapper." Lexington also gathered together the most well-known DJ's in the Metropolitan area to do a mixtape album he created an album, which compiled the work of those same DJ's. And later on Lexington got a distribution deal with Select-O-Hits and released an album nationwide called Spittin Seeds makin Platinum Babies.
Personal life
Lexington Alexander was born and raised in Long Island (Great Neck, King Point), New York. At the age of four, he began spending his summer vacations in North Carolina with his grandfather where he learned to hone his skill as an archer.
While living in New York, Lexington made the executive decision to leave New York and relocate to California to train and enhance his skills as a Professional Archer.
Lexington began training with the top Coaches in the sport to make the 2016 Olympics a reality. His current Coach and Mentor, Larry Brown of Center Shot Archers has molded Lexington to be an outstanding shooter and competitor in the Sport on and off the range.
Lexington is building a brand that brings excitement to the sport of Archery which will transcend over many different demographics worldwide. Most importantly, Lexington believes in giving back by conducting free clinics to raise donations for youth organizations in many cities across the country. When not competing Lexington offers demonstrations and motivational speaking opportunities to colleges and universities across the county with or without archery teams.
Lexington thanks God for the blessings that have been placed in his heart and the drive to win with the mindset and attitude of a World Class Athlete. He is so excited to show the world his skills blended with energy that will keep the people entertained. “Can you say Hip-Hop meets Archery?”
