Maldon is a historic railway station on the Victorian Goldfields Railways Maldon branch line, off the main Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill lines in central Victoria, Australia.

History

The station was originally opened on 16 June 1884 and was closed to passenger services on 6 January 1941. After this date, the line was used only for goods traffic until closure on 3 December 1976. The Maldon station was opened for tourist services in 1986 over a short 1 km section of the line out of Maldon. The line has been extended to Castlemaine.

On 20 October 2009 the roof, kitchen and stationmaster's office at the Maldon Train Station were extensively damaged by fire. The station was also once the junction for the Shelbourne Extension
