Malaysia–Norway relations

Malaysia–Norway relations refers to a foreign relations between the two countries, Malaysia and Norway. Malaysia has a consulate in Oslo, while Norway has an embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

Economic relations

Both Norway and Malaysia are oil-producing nations and petroleum industry has been the most important pillar in the bilateral relation. Both countries also cooperates in agriculture industries. Currently there are 50 Norwegian companies in Malaysia. In 2006, exports to Malaysia worth around 150 million MYR, while imports from Malaysia worth around 338.7 million MYR.

Security relations

Norway also provide Malaysia in the supply of military equipment and defence services.
