Majid Husain is an Indian Geographer, he is well known for his immense contribution to Geography through numerous publication, research works and teaching in many universities.

Early life
He was born in Haridwar district of Uttrakhand. Majid Husain has a M.A. in Geography (Gold Medalist), an LL.B and a PhD.
Legacy
Prof. Majid Husain is one of the senior most faculty of Geography in India who has been honored with several awards and distinctions for his invaluable research in the field of Geography. He has trained many well known experts of Geography.
At present, he resides at New Delhi and teaches the aspirants of Indian Civil Services exam conducted by UPSC at Pragati IAS in Rajendra Nagar. His unique teaching style helps student to assimilate even the most convoluted topics. He teaches complete module of Geography for optional, Geography for Prelims, environment and ecology and mentors his students for personality test as well. Many students taught by him are working as IAS, IPS, IFS and in other elite services.
