The Jagtik Maheshwari Mahasabha (Hindi: जागतिक माहेश्वरी महासभा, English: World Maheshwari Assembly ) abbreviated JMM or Maheshwari Mahasabha is a wing of the Divyashakti Yogapeeth Akhada (abbreviated as Maheshwari Akhada). Divyashakti Yogapeeth Akhada is non-governmental organization, was founded by Yogi Premsukhanand Maheshwari (born as Premsukh Sabu) on Mahesh Navmi Day, 30 May 2012 in Tirtharaj Lohargal (Place of Maheshwari Origin), Rajasthan, India. Jagtik Maheshwari Mahasabha is a Federation of Maheshwari Organizations in India. Its main objective is "to organise, consolidate the Maheshwari society and to serve, protect the Maheshwari culture (Maheshwaritva). The Jagtik Maheshwari Mahasabha's slogan is 'Sab ka vikas, sab ko samman' (Progress For All, Respect For All). It has been involved in social service projects, construction, renovation and for the upkeep of Maheshwari temples (Maheshwari places of worship - Mahesh Mandir). Its aim is to raise awareness about the social and economic problems faced by Maheshwaris.

Membership

JMM does not have any formal membership. According to the constitution off Jagtik Maheshwari Mahasabha, everyone Maheshwari (and who is Indian citizen also) above the age of 18 are members of Jagtik Maheshwari Mahasabha. Although the JMM claims not to keep membership records.

Maheshwari Ratna

Maheshwari Ratna is the highest Maheshwari award of the Maheshwari Mahasabha. Recommendations for the Maheshwari Ratna are made by the Mahamantri of Maheshwari Mahasabha to the President of Maheshwari Mahasabha, with a maximum of two nominees being awarded per year. Recipients receive a Sanad (certificate) signed by the President of Maheshwari Mahasabha and a betel-leaf–shaped medallion; there is no monetary grant associated with the award.

The first recipients of the Maheshwari Ratna were Marwad crown, Maheshwari race was king Seth Damodar Rathi (8 February 1884 – 2 January 1918) and Justice R. C. Lahoti (Ramesh Chandra Lahoti, born 1 November 1940, Chief Justice of India, serving from 1 June 2004 to 1 November 2005.) who were honoured in 2013.
