Mahesh Mhatre

Mahesh Mhatre ( Born, June 5, 1967) is a leading Indian journalist, author and columnist. Mahesh is an Editor of Prahaar. He is a founder Editor of the first Marathi webzine Pratibimb. He has worked with the Indian Express as a Senior Editor. Mahesh is a popular TV Panelist and frequently appears on various TV talk shows, likeon DD Sahyadri, TV9, Zee 24Tas. In last two decades Mahesh has dabbled with print, electronic and online media successfully.

He has received many prestigious awards like,Gopal Ganesh Agarkar Award instituted by the Maharashtra Sampadak Parishad, an apex body of the Marathi Editors, for the excellence in journalism. He is a recipient of Ramesh Raikar -Bose Award for investigative journalism and Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh's Dahanukar Award for the rural reporting.
