Geography
The district is spread over an area of 2,876.70 square kilometres (1,110.70 sq mi). garla mandal in pocharam panchayat many more resources are available like baxite and steel granite, iron vore ,and pocharam pedda cheruvu in 250 acores but mission kakatiya not working them and many crops are like mirchi,cotton,paddy,greengross....etc In heighest mirchi fields our mhbd district in pocharam panchayat yearly 1 tone tornower abovementioned. but government officials are not comessential and many more problems in my village pathapocharam roads not available buses ,auto's are not coming ,drinking water problem two bore motor's are available but one motor was not working here ,in my village garla to 8 kms and mhbd to 34kms

Administrative divisions
The district will have two revenue divisions of Mahabubabad, Thorrur and is sub-divided into 12 mandals. Preeti Meena is the present collector of the district. And J Muralidhar is the present Superintendent of Police is
