Magdalena Ruiz Guinazu (born 15 February 1935) is an Argentine writer and journalist. She has worked in the National Commission on the Disappearance of Persons. She received many Martin Fierro Awards including the Golden Martin Fierro award in 1993.

In the years 1976, 1977 and 1978 worked in the so-called Channel 11, controlled by the army, was one of 16 women journalists who received an award from the Minister of Interior, General Albano Harguindeguy, in August 1980.

During the 80's she took an attitude of defense of human rights from different organisms. From his radio show was the first to give voice to the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo during the dictatorship government.
