Magali Rousseau (born March 10, 1988 in Neuilly-sur-Seine) is a French swimmer, who specialized in butterfly events. She is a member of Canet 66 in Canet-en-Roussillon, and is coached and trained by Philippe Lucas. Rousseau is also the daughter of three-time Olympic freestyle swimmer Michel Rousseau (1968, 1972, and 1976).

Rousseau qualified for the women's 200 m butterfly at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by clearing a FINA A-standard entry time of 2:10.07 from the Olympic trials in Dunkirk. She challenged seven other swimmers on the third heat, including top medal favorites Natsumi Hoshi

of Japan and Liu Zige of China. Rousseau rounded out the field to seventh place by 0.39 of a second behind Hungary's Emese Kovacs, outside her entry time of 2:13.12. Rousseau failed to advance into the semifinals, as she placed twenty-eighth overall in the preliminary heats.

Rousseau, currently on holiday, is residing in Mount Maunganui of New Zealand under coach John 'Spindles' Bryant where she hopes to make a mark on New Zealand surf life saving beach events, rather than focusing on pool swimming. Because of her success in the pool she is not a newcomer and definitely one to watch as the summer progresses. This will be an interesting season for her, as training alongside the likes of daunting and fearless ironman Amy Barron we should see results left right and centre.
