Machida Station (町田駅, Machida-eki) is a railway station on the Yokohama Line in Machida, Tokyo, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Station layout
Machida Station has two island platforms serving four tracks, with the station building located above and perpendicular to the platforms. The station has a "Midori no Madoguchi" staffed ticket office.
History
The station first opened as Haramachida Station (原町田駅) on September 23, 1908. The station was moved 0.4 km toward Hachiōji and renamed Machida on April 1, 1980 to reduce the walking distance between it and Shin-Haramachida Station (now Machida Station) on the Odakyu Odawara Line from 700 m to 300 m.
