Plot

It is an example of hyperlink cinema, in that it follows four separate stories which converge at one point to make the remaining story.  This City based thriller that will travel on the Hyperlink plot connecting the four youngsters from the different walks of lives. The most young stars of South Indian industry – Sundeep Kishan, Shri and Regina Cassandra are playing the lead roles alongside Ramdoss (a) Munishkanth and Charle. Maanagaram will focalize upon Chennai city as one of the major characters in this film, where the backdrops would indeed become a prominent ingredient of this tale.

In April 2015, Sundeep Kishan began working on a Tamil film directed by newcomer Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by S. R. Prabhu's production house Potential Studios. Revealed to be a dark comedy thriller, actor Sri was signed to play another lead and Regina Cassandra was signed on to play the lady lead in the film, and filming began later that month. Actors Charle and Ramdoss were also subsequently signed on to play pivotal roles and the project was completed by September 2015. The film was revealed to be based on hyperlink cinema with Regina's role constant throughout the film. Potential Studios begun promoting the film in February 2016. Sundeep and Regina duo pairing for third time after Telugu flicks Routine Love Story and Ra Ra... Krishnayya.

The film's score and soundtrack was composed by Javed Riaz. The album was released on 22 August 2016 as part of Madras Day celebrations..
