History

Maersk Anglia was built by Guang Zhou shipyard, China in 2000 at the same time as the Maersk Flanders. The first two ships of this class, Maersk Importer and Maersk Exporter were built at MIHO Shimizu ship yard in Japan in 1996.

In July 2010, DFDS acquired Norfolkline and the routes and vessels were integrated into DFDS Seaways and the "Maersk Anglia" was renamed "Anglia Seaways".
