Slogan

The Original Epic Hackathon.

MHacks is a semiannual student-run hackathon held by the University of Michigan. The 36-hour event brings students from across the world to develop creative solutions with the latest technology, including both software and hardware based solutions. MHacks is open to students all around the world of all majors and requires no prior coding experience. They have the best sponsors and companies that come to hire the best talent from the hackathon. This is essentially how MHacks runs on financially. However, every season they seem to have losing their brand value and funds due to poor administration run. In 2017, they localized their hackers and focused more on local talent, being inspired by Donald Trump's famous quote "Buy American, hire American"
