It has a rounded roof dome similar to the MAN NL202 with a double-curvature windscreen with a separate destination blind and a full low floor layout similar to the MAN NL202 that its rear seats are mounted on platforms.

It is currently in operation with New Lantau Bus and DBTSL in Hong Kong after they were notable as second hand buses, former Citybus buses.

Citybus is the launcher of this bus. All 80 buses all in total were ordered as 1501-1580.

The second one is (#1560) was damaged by a traffic accident on 17 January 2011, at the branch road near the Hong Kong's side exit at Western Harbour Crossing and withdrawn prematurely in 21 February 2011.
